    hoops scoops...first half observations...

off the radar player that showed the best to me was dt kheeston randall...flowed down the los very well loved the motor i saw a in better shape player frankly than last year...developing nicely at dt and looks to be a solid 2 deep and rotation dt...

derrick shelby got owned against the run vs the #1 tackles of dallas...those soft corners were about lack of outside contain and quick acceleration at de with shelby...flashed some pass rush but not against anyone who can play...

dallas thomas the swing tackle??? ehhh...i hope he plays a lot better than that going forward...i saw a guard like foot athlete in too much space...

will davis lack of tackling on display tonight...ugly in run support

dion jordan showed off that cod...but what i was really impressed with was his strength on contact...he's more than just a edge run around you guy...looks good...i'm very happy with the pop on contact and the ability to move ot's...

jonas gray is slow...downhill but slow

mike gillislee looks like just a guy...jack of many trades but not explosive...

where the heck is the lb depth??? i didn't see anything...

kelci mccray is long and lean and he looks like a pro but he sure looked like he was out of position tonight...and you can't let a average athlete qb get outside you on a clean outside blitz rush where you come in too hot and can't break down and open your hips...that may just be though he was so amped up...hips look pretty good

michael egnew shows he doesn't understand coverage reads man it's zone doesn't sit down ball goes off his back shoulder as he crosses instead of sitting in the soft spot...

matt moore takes an ugly can't have it red zone sack but that's matt moore for ya he takes bad sacks...throw the damn ball away...before that he reads it wrong on the int bumphis sits down like he should against zone moore leads him it's off his fingertips pick 6...

marvin mcnutt yep we are wasting our time...no burst no nothing...legedu naanee all over again...terrible

brian tyms now that kids interesting...raw but good burst to him...i liked what i saw...needs seasoning...

chad bumphis lack of long speed on display in the open field...but he's a pro...tough a little faster than bess but no real quick acceleration...still he can get off coverage in tight spaces and quickly

none of the udfa dt's de's showed me anything...

vs the ones he got owned playing the run...he has outside contain...the back got those soft corners too easy...his lack of speed and acceleration showed itself tonight...admittedly he was up against a much better move athlete

Lol I feel bad for you, staying up for this type of performance. I'm not phased though, all the boo boos are from the 2nd/3rd teamers, not the starters.

I liked what I saw of miller. Fumble was bad, but his burst seems pretty good.

agreed...i liked what i saw...the fumble imo was being amped and trying to go before he secured the handoff...

mcnutt though is a big body that is gonna wear coverage like drapes and give qbs very small if any windows...like iowa...there's nothing there...tyms though that kid has talent

Tyms looked good. Looking forward to see him get a lot of playing time in the next few weeks.
