I'm excited to see Dion Jordan drop into coverage and add to the confusion for Weeden. To have Cam Wake and Co. coming at Weeden is one thing; to have to deal with them coming at you and Dion Jordan floating in space or blitzing at you is another thing entirely
I don't know what to expect fro him at this point. Is he a beast? Is he two years away from being a beast? Is he an injured beast?
No clear picture of what he can/will offer....I guess we'll see Sunday.
My big worry is Patterson or our 3rd CB getting exposed if we can't get to Weeden.
i told ya all...this injury thing was a bit of a rouse. They have plans for him.
Just watched some preseason again. Vernon is standing up rushing sometimes. I bet we see all 3 in at same time. Joe Thomas cant block both of them.
But looked at Cleveland preseason ball too. Schwartz is stiff but strong. Wake will blow past him. Weedon will look to throw quickly. blitzes coming from everywhere. thats what i see. reshad jones. ellerbe. wheeler. jordan.
The draft? Wallace gone changes everything. FA is the first key.
I saw a formation where:
Vernon is standing up
Cam Wake moves Inside
Stark is Inside
Odrick moves to the other end position
I'm thinking very likely they take out Odrick or Starks and insert Jordan here.
Obviously against the pass this is a strong pass rushing line-up. But i can easily see teams running at this formation because of the lack of size
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
