OPINION Olivier Vernon should not be a starter

I am really happy that we won but I could not help but notice that Olivier Vernon was struggling. He struggled last week too but I understood why. He was going up against a pro bowl LT but this week I did get why he didn't get pressure and against the run he did not set the edge and the run would go for a bunch of yards. I don't think he should start and replace him with Derrick Shelby or Dion Jordan. Vernon can play in special teams or something.

    CK does not lie.
Joe Philbin says, "Jim Turner was a great coach. He made sure shoes were tied at all times and that no gum wrappers touched the field."

He's not doing awful - it's just with guys like Shelby and Jordan behind its kind of hard to justify giving him the nod with a half a sack in two games.

Shelby and Jordan both have the benefit of being able to come in fresh. I think Vernon has better things ahead and I don't see why you would change anything right now with our front 7 coming up big when it really matters in these games.

To me it's not only about the lack of sacks but I did noticed both games they're running his way and that corner has been soft. He's not very big for a DE and they're taking advantage of him.

So we beat an 11-5 playoff team on their home turf, we're 2-0 and still have 8 home games to play, and these are the threads we come up with? I'm gonna go eat my ice cream.
I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

first of all , OV did good job last week against joe thomas. He did pretty good today too, he's getting in the backfield and upsetting timing of the qb and disrupting the plays.

YOu guys who fall in love with your sack numbers, need to just stop.

Quit getting your football info from bleacher report... LMAO

whats next... a thread on dion jordon being a bust because he didn't wrap andrew luck today?
