this whole respect thing is over blown. who cares what the stupid media talking heads say in their contrived little 30 second blurbs?
I'm already seeing more coverage and more praise (respect) for Miami. Win or lose this game is going to get a lot of air time next week as its a pretty big game. If we win the praise will be overflowing. If we lose however a lot of fans may wish we didn't get as much air time next week.

I'm sorry but I don't get these threads. We have gotten plenty of media coverage. It's like people expect the media to only focus on the Dolphins or something. They are not calling us superbowl contenders yet because we have not proven to be that yet. If we beat the Saints we will certainly get a lot more attention. You can't erase years of bad play in a couple games. Doesn't work that way folks. Also we would be getting a lot more press if the Patriots were 2-1 or 1-2.
Who cares!!! We don't need to be glory hounds and look for pats on our backs.
Only the Dolphins would have a Chicago Bears Ballboy as their GM
Could care less what my wife thinks regarding the Fins. I'm enjoying it, is all that matters
I tell you now, you don't want the media attention. It brings too much negativity and pressure to a team that doesn't need it. If one thing doesn't go right, you get a story written about you. Do you think RG3 wanted to be anointed the savior of football? He got all the attention for a year, now his team sucks and he gets all the blame. I don't want Tannehill to fall into that crap, or any of the team for that matter.
Leave us off in the corner beating the media favorites every week, it feels better that way.
How we deal with the spot light will greatly depend on the coach and in that I have all the confidence in the world.
