From just the eyeball test I think Jones play this year has been suspect. Not terrible by any means but not spectacular which everyone has raised the bar to expect.
He hasn't given up any big plays, he's been good on the rush, hurried the QB, and hasn't been overly tested which is ok.
After 3 games there shouldn't be an overwhelming opinion one way or the other.

I think he's being used more in coverage and seeing more one-on-one matchups. Last year, he was probably a better blitzing option than any of our LB's, so we saw him blitzing more often and playing zone when he wasn't. I think as the season wears on we will see more blitz packages being implemented for him as opposing offenses start game planning more for the linebackers in that aspect. I feel like I've seen him make enough big hits and help out in run support enough that I'm personally not worried about it yet. I'd be more worried if he looked lost out there, which he does not.
