Owner Support for Ireland completely gone, right?

No one has his back on here anymore?

Sadly, our a-hole owner still does and just gave him a bunch more money.

It's hard to imagine the Miami Dolphins being relevant with this guy at the helm.

    Ownership needs a brain enema.

This might be a test of Ross's ability as an owner and his desire to win. This team lacks depth and has missed on way too many early draft picks under Ireland and it's costing the team now ... those second and third rounders didn't need to be stars, just solid contributors. And I don't think the occasional Wake and Thigpen finds make up for that.

If Ross is serious about this being a great team, he might have to eat Ireland's contract and go out and get someone better. It's getting to the point that it's almost impossible to argue that Ireland is largely accountable for the problems this team has right now.

Ross said we need to make the playoffs this year. So what is he going to do to Ireland if we don't?!
Please God, let me see 1 Dolphins Superbowl victory before I die.

wouldn't go there... yet. would like to see him get Philbin/Sherman onboard with bringing in a more NFL experienced OL coach to consult/aid Turner/Mosley, or replace Mosley (the asst-OLC)

I have no issues with Ireland, never have. He's the GM he gets people that fit the scheme with input from the coaches. He's picked up some good players and some not so good players. He's like more than half the damn GMs in the league. You can't hit on every single one of them.

Once again, will the asst. coaches get any blame for not developing the players that are brought in??!!

If we don't end up with at least a 10-6 record and make the playoffs, Ireland needs to be gone. He's had chances. I wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade at OL coach. I'm not really thrilled with the job Turner has done.

Sorry, no. He said that he needed to "see improvement." Sadly, we have improved slightly...Ireland will stick around like a bad penny...
