He is the last stinking tuna left from the tuna cartel... Miami needs to get rid of him ASAP.... Does anyone see Dallas fans complaining about dez Bryant's drug addict momma? Jake long cornerstone of franchise? Nope already gone.. Former first rounder vontae Davis still here? Nope a bust. Pat white anyone? I can go on and on. This guy needed to be gone yesterday...

Its probably a combo of all things considered. He's missed badly with alot of draft picks which doesn't help. Also, he's hit on some diamonds in the rough and brought in some quality players. Like you said, he's picked up some good and some not so good. Coaching probably takes some of the blame and the players at some point need to do their thing....thats what they get paid for.

Is it ALL Irelands fault? No. But he definitely is gonna have to face the music if they dont make the playoffs this year. You can't keep giving him a pass when the coaching regime and QB situation has been overturned more than once. Sometimes change is needed, especially considering they are coming off multiple sub par 7-9 seasons. Lets see how this year plays out though...

If Ireland was going to be let go it would have been when they fired Sparano....

Right now, his job is safe as long as Tannehill is playing well....everyone's fate on the staff is tied to Tannehill playing well.

A GM makes his money by creating depth on a team, not putting free agency money into the starters and having it look pretty on paper.

The lack of depth on this team was always the main issue and that is showing up more than ever . . . but ultimately, that piss poor oline he has put tons of "picks and money" into during his tenure will be his ultimate downfall.

Ireland is a funny dude, he hustled Vernon Carey's contract down to peanuts . . . yet gave Clabo double the amount this season. Clabo can't shine Vernon Carey's shoes. He needs help in regards to the oline, no question.

Well at this rate, Tannehill will be on IR within the next month so I wouldn't be resigning any leases if I were him.

A 4-1 record won't change the fact that this team has poor depth all over the place, no drafted dynamic playmakers and an absolute pitiful offensive line, and if the Dolphins do make the playoffs with this group I'd say that reflects more on Joe Philbin and the coaching staff over anything that Jeff Ireland has contributed.

The guy has been solid in round 1 for the most part, but he falls apart in the butter rounds of the draft (rounds 2-4)
