Just seconds before Katherine Sebelius addressed the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the Obamacare website went down.
Ironically, it happened minutes before Sebelius said, “The [Obamacare] website never crashed. It is functional, but at a very slow speed and very low reliability." In fact, the site was still down 30 minutes after she began speaking.
It was verified that the site was unavailable in at least North Carolina, Virginia, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, New York, Maryland, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Kentucky, Minnesota, and New Hampshire.
Additionally, many congressmen who came to question Sebelius were unable to access the site on their own browsers before and during the hearing.
