What a circus!
It's reassuring to know the world is crazier than you are. - Dr. Erik Selvig, Thor: The Dark World
I for one hope that the NFL bans all types of rookie hazing, including things such as paying for a veteran's dinner and carrying his gear. All of that is immature, young-punk bully stuff. And, it's not just in the NFL, it's everywhere. Some call it a rite of manhood; I call it behavior bordering on and at times criminal. What's that? You want to give me a stupid haircut? I don't think so! You want me to carry your gear? Carry it yourself! I guess that I'd never make it on a team because I wouldn't go along with any of that bull.
Carolina is on a roll. They have completely turned around that franchise. Theyve scored 130 points during their recent 4 game win stretch, that doesnt account for the 38 points they put up against the Giants earlier this season. Greg Olsen is coming off an injury and playing better and better every week, and we've had problems covering tight ends for...oh, 5 years or so now. Their front 7 is straight up nasty and shouldnt have to many problems feasting on our laughable excuse for a line.
No one can sleep on the Chargers. Mike McCoy has been a revelation for them and saved Phillip Rivers career. We have the better team but its not difficult to image losing that game. If it becomes a shootout we are probably screwed.
And the Jets always play us tough.
Thats a tough stretch. Not as tough as what we went through earlier this year, but tougher then the teams we played during our 4 game lose period.
Oh, and "forgot" about the Bucs. That team is a disaster. If we lose to them, pack up the season becomes its over.
