Way off base on this one bro. Outside wood boilers, wood stoves, fireplaces etc...are a staple in my neck of the woods. There isn't a redneck alive that would go trade his stove for a new fancy 1500 dollar model, my dad welded his own together. The EPA has a epic fail on it's hands over this one.

You can't tell me that the constant out pouring of gasses from industry isn't responsible for more air pollution than wood burning stoves. Millions of aces of woods are burnt each year but the wood burning stoves we us to heat our house cause global warming? I guess if that is true the problem solves itself eventually lol.

the math that our stove maybe burns um, 10-15 average sized trees a winter + about what maybe 30,000 other wood burning families in Kentucky (bear with me, as I have no idea how many people burn wood for their primary heat source), would in no way equal the average year (it seems) California wildfire that burns millions of acres does not add up. At all.

i'm not sure what you're getting at, but no one is fighting in this thread. whatever joke you're trying to pull off is better left in the anything goes thread.

What can the wood heat be replaced with?
Obama has declared war on coal. We don't build nuke plants anymore. Hydroelectric is being used all we can. That leaves petrolium in one form or another. That isn't exactly clean burning. And some people like to use the wood off of the property they own. I am one of them.
But most importantly the law prohibits the fed from micromanaging our lives.

I agree with your sentiment, but when do we ever get more than like two weeks worth of non-consecutive days of winter?

It's off and on for sure. But lately over the last few years it's been getting colder. For the last 3 years my garden has died. This year I'm not even trying.
