If anyone should have had any rushing yards it should have been RT especially when we were in the red zone.

Moreover, the Buccaneers prior to tonight scored only 0.42 points per pass attempt, and we managed to increase that to more than a point per attempt tonight, while scoring fewer points per attempt ourselves than we had typically.

In terms of scoring efficiency, we turned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into the Denver Broncos, while we became the Cleveland Browns.
I'm impressed you are doing research on points per pass attempt. I remember the first time I mentioned that stat on the air on Las Vegas radio in 1988. The entire viewing audience in the Stardust sportsbook was silent and puzzled because they had never heard it before. But the host Arnie Lang was quickly jotting it down.

I had an early edge on lots of categories. I took advantage but probably not as much as I should have. The problem is, once you uncover something good you keep looking for an angle that's better yet, or some type of combination. Once I had a computer in the early '90s and figured out how to make Excel spreadsheets, I was researching dozens of new angles every night. I remember my Quadra 610 with a 25 Mhz processor took more than 20 minutes to calculate. Now I wish I had kept everything more simple.

Tannehill was solid for what the situation was with the running game. He's showing poise in the pocket, but maybe too much as to where he doesn't scramble out of it. He is throwing a lot of "NFL" throws, but lacks deep accuracy. If tannehill had deep accuracy he'd easily be a top 10 QB. That being said, this Miami team, as many stated, lacks the killer instinct. It's an 8-8 team, simply said. Stick a fork in us, we are done. I hope I can eat my words with this last statement, but it almost seems as though we play up to our level of competition, regardless of how the media portrays the situation at hand. We need that killer instinct. We need the coach that will fire a team up CONSISTANTLY. Same with the GM. If we get the proper management and staff, we have the potential for a playoff team. But, as of right now, I don't see it even with the AFCE being as weak as it is this year, which blows because a possible 9-7 team could get the WC this year.

Sorry. Idc if Tannehill should have ran the ball instead of throwing for Hartline. It doesn't mean he should be leading the team in rushing w/ 2 yards. 13 carries for 0 yards for our backs in inexcusable for any rushing attack.

I'm sorry but at this point I don't see how we can have the word "positive and "Dolphins" in the same sentance. There's nothing positive about our team at this point. How can we get 2 weeks to get ready to play te last place Bills and lose tht game......then we get 10 days to prepared to play the winless bucs and yet again lay an egg? I like Philbin as a person but this guy will not take us to the superbowl. The need to ghet rid of Ireland and Philbin and for those who say they don't want us to start again, I really don't care about that. This team is NOT going in the right direction and I'm sick of it. Keeping everyone in place just cause you don't want to make changes is stupid. This is NOT working and you need to change it now. Ireland has put a team together with no heart. They make no big plays, they can't tackle and they can't block ad we have a coaching staff that acts as if everything is fine. Then you got players telling us how close they are. So what? You're not winning.I will always root for my Dolphins but last nigh was a disgrace.

    Ozzy rules!!

Here's my assessment. The cliff notes version:

    Positives

    • They lost. Every loss drives another nail into the Ireland/Philbin regime coffin.
    • Tannehill is still able to walk.
    • The national spotlight is still shining bright on this joke of a franchise, making Ross even more embarrassed. Hopefully it inspires change.
    • We have the best punter in the league!!!!!!!!!!! Wooohoooo! Wannstache would be proud

    Negatives

    • We have to wait 5 months until the next draft.
    • We have no idea if Ross is getting good enough advisement in order to hire a great GM to clean up this toxic mess.

Never said he should have lead anything never said our rushing attack was any good all I said was he had every oppertunnity to move the ball with his legs. Especially when wallace was doubled. If the idioits in the booth could not see that they should be fired.
