    That's a depressing thought.

    The Outcumbent Party?

By the way, I don't think you're socially liberal so much as "do you own thing, homey, and I'll do mine."

Why, I can smile, and murder while I smile,
And cry 'Content' to that which grieves my heart,
And wet my cheeks with artificial tears,
And frame my face to all occasions.
I can add colours to the chameleon,
Change shapes with Proteus for advantages,
And set the murderous Machiavel to school.
Can I do this, and cannot get a crown?

I like the name, "Outcumbent Party"! Hit the road, jerks.

I am comfortable with your description of me too. Fits pretty well.

I was a constitutionalist before it became popular, but now I don't associate myself with any party or group. My philosophy is closer to that of an Anarcho-Capitalist or Free Market Anarchism. I still hold libertarian views also. Just not the 'monopoly on force' part.

    A Christian.

God forwarns us constantly of man's evil intentions. When "the beast" is described in the bible, it is translated by scholars to mean "the system," which controls everyone and takes away there freedoms.

The latest notion is to ban football. Its too neanderthal like.

People have clung to one side our the other and justified their party's treachery because of the perceived inherent personal benefit that party brought them. The time to pay the piper is nearly upon us.

Good call, the Bible lays it out pretty clearly where society is heading. Thus far, we are not disappointing in the slightest. Society is saying itself up very nicely to be dominated and subjugated by the beast. They will willingly and happily bow at his feet then gnash and cry in terror when reality sets in.

I would classify myself as appalled at the state of our country, no matter who we vote into office nothing seems to change.

Well, there used to be a simple answer to that question, until the political scene
became so ****ing chippy and petty.

I would like to think I'm a Libertarian, but I'm not. I believe strongly
in the rule of law, and enforcement of said laws evenly across the board.

    HOWEVER

I do not believe that we need so many laws, nor are they beneficial.

I would say I'm right leaning, but don't give a damn about gay marriage at all.
My only caveat is that they don't get special status. If you want marriage, fine.
Abide by the same laws/rules as the rest of us. "Equality" is what we're after
    right? Right.

I also don't give a damn about abortion. Two camps fighting a trench warfare
campaign for about 2% of the population to shift the paradigm one way or the other.

The issue doesn't motivate, nor concern me. I honestly have no opinion on it.

I think government should be smaller, not bigger. I've seen so ****ing many instances of
oversight on spending being so wantingly lax that MORE government is bad. It's
self perpetuation, and that's bad. At the same time, people cry about me being a "Stateist"
because I believe strongly in a united country, and I am an unabashed nationalist.

I guess I'm more an "A la carte" style political dude. Depends on the issue.

    Thanks Shifty!
