So I got to see this movie last night. If you like the original Japanese Godzilla movies you won't be disappointed. They are very faithful to the source material. The build up is rather slow in comparison to the original movies. Though it is well worth it in the end. The only complaints I have is not enough monster action and

. I will defiantly buy this once it hits DVD. Since I saw this at our local drive-in theater I took a picture of the screen at dusk and then whipped this up after I got home.

Pic looks good Shifty. I have been waiting for this movie for a while. How was it at the drive in? I always wanted to go there but never made it before I left.

Good. They got new digital projectors so it looked good. My brother saw it at Tinseltown and he said it was just a little darker than Tinseltown.

Just saw Godzilla yesterday. I know I am in the national minority, but I have to admit though I expected a little more. Godzilla himself looked great, I just thought the execution could have been better.

Maybe my expectations were just too high.

That is surprising sering as how that used the Spielberg make of monster unveil. Unless it was the pacing at you didn't like.

I saw the movie last week and loved it. The complaints I've read online are in fact the pacing of the movie and that Godzilla isn't in the movie from the start. I didn't see it as being a problem because what else was he supposed to do? Did we need to see him getting a milkshake while waiting to fight again?

Completely agree. Though I won't lie, the human aspects of the story do seem to be a bit of a waste.
