Right now Tannehill can't hold Luck's jock.
Here are their career stats. Looks to me as though Tannehill very much deserves to be compared to Luck. He may be slighty behind Luck, but it is far from an outrageous comparison.

    Tannehill: 1,072 Att / 637 Comp / 59.4 % / 7,207 Yards / 6.72 Avg / 36 TD / 30 Int / 11 Fumb / 79.1 Rating

    Luck: 1,197 Att / 682 Comp / 57.0 % / 8,196 Yards / 6.85 Avg / 46 TD / 27 Int / 14 Fumb / 81.5 Rating

And here is what Wilson has done:

    Wilson: 800 Att / 509 Comp / 63.6 % / 6,475 Yards / 8.09 Avg / 52 TD / 19 Int / 11 Fumb / 100.6 Rating + 1 Superbowl Victory

I'm not one who fails to give credit to what Wilson has accomplished his first 2 seasons in the league. It's dang impressive. Right now Luck and Tannehill are looking up at Wilson and what he has done, but that certainly doesn't mean Tannehill has been a bust by any stretch of the imagination. He made tremendous strides from year 1 to year 2, and he could be a damn good one before it is all said and done.

if we judged on stats you'd have a great case but #s w/o context tells us a small part of the story. Ryan is nowhere near Luck or Wilson yet, maybe some day he gets there? long way to go.

Why on Earth would we accept QB analysis from someone who still believes Sanchez is the answer?

LMAO!!! FH automatically changes S-A-N-C-H-E-Z to buttfumble. That is glorious! Kudos to the mods!

b/c it is someone who doesn't blindly look at stats. mark played the way Russell did last night in postseason, when mark has talent around him he wins. Miami would have been a playoff team this year w/ him.

Do you have any point that one person can agreed with on this entire site?

This has nothing to do with the Jets. Yes you responded to someone else but please, please, please let's not turn this into another Jets debate.

I am not here to gain agreement and whether anyone agrees w/ me or not doesn't mean I am right or wrong.

Um, the other poster brought up Mark. Follow along.

Are you blind? I clearly said you were responding to someone else. We aren't talking about the Jets QB in this thread. If it continues the thread is over.

Then don't continue to talk about him. Don't blame someone else for continuing the conversation. This is about Luck and Tannehill.

Please don't bring that up in this thread. We're discussing Luck and Tannehill here. No one else.

So you believe Miami fans should not compare Tannehill to Luck or Wilson, but you believe buttfumble played as well as Wilson did last night...interesting.
