Marino can have a role but as most agree not any formal power as he hasn't earned that.

Regarding Marino, he should absolutely be part of the organization. However, he is not a GM and should not be involved like one. I see Marino as a PR guy, talent evaluator and perhaps some limited management duties until he gets his feet wet and earns a promotion. I would really like to see the same thing with Jason Taylor. He clearly wants to be part of the organization and I think he has the smarts and energy to do a good job. Plus, he is very well respected and connected throughout the league.
Linking our current Phins to some of our more successful past Phins, is a good way of engaging fans and building positive PR.
He'd be a great person inside the team IMO.
The FO would be respectful.
The only limit in life is set by yourself, but others have a limit that exceeds the norm, and that's what makes them unique. In an environment like this where no one can get hurt, I cherish Fin fans's diehardness; and their critical assessment's of this team's EVERY move.
That's why I come here.
This is unfortunate as I believe Marino's best role would to be the one who selects the GM and coach. IMO, Ross should be a hands off owner who hires a czar type. I understand he enjoys making the hires, but it doesn't seem as though he's good at it.
