Just out of curiosity, would you be praising Obama if you learned that he'd refused to help anti-al-Qaida government forces in Iraq or if he'd sent American troops in there instead?

    Cool story.

What a life where it revolves around blaming Obama for everything.

So, Obama continued doing the same **** the past few administrations have done (other than disarming Americans, which is BS).

Obama is an asshole just like the rest of them. On the bright side, thank god we don't have crazy old McCain getting us involved in wars every-goddamn-where.

Our country sending arms to other countries has gone on longer then just the past few administrations .
They often end up being used against us . Why do we still do this ?

If the best we can come up with a choice for president is Obama , McCain , and Romney we are totally screwed .

No, I illustrated yet another no-win scenario created to criticize Obama. Like with any other president, there are plenty of reasons for legitimate criticism, but the right has turned criticism of Obama into a cottage industry where he's subject to criticism for everything he does, no matter what he does.

Your post is a perfect example of that. You criticize Obama for providing arms to Iraqi government forces to combat al-Qaida. But if those same al-Qaida forces somehow managed to overthrow the Iraqi government and seize control of the country and it's oil fields, you'd criticize Obama for having done too little and letting that happen. And if you're about to deny that, feel free to explain why you'd praise Obama for allowing al-Qaida to control Iraq and it's oil.

Both sides do it. Bush was blamed for everything, from global warming to hurricane Katrina.

I think it's recently gotten exponentially worse. And that's unfortunate because issues which truly deserve our attention and scrutiny get buried under a pile of nonsensical criticisms that weren't issues for past presidents. Was Bush ever criticized in by mainstream media sources for wearing jeans?

I think your personal political views lead to that conclusion. You just didn't care to notice it happening to bush as much as Obama. Ask any republican and they'll say bush got it tens time fold from the media worse than Obama. I see the same thing everyday on the main from th most ardent fans. "Oh, the media hates the dolphins more than any other team and criticizes us for everything".

And yes, I've heard bush criticized by the media for eating soup.
