I keep a case or so in the house.
Whew , I'm going to have to disagree on this one Goon. Went to the races in Feb, My brother and I grabbed an emergency 6 pack of Big Flats just for a cheap beer to pack in the cooler in case we ran out of our good stuff. Both gave it a try and it was pretty bad, I think I still got a couple buried in the fridge somewhere.

Yeah. A bit better than Kalik IMO. Neither is particularly great, but Sands is decent.

When I lived in Miami we used to get Red Stripe brewed in Jamaica i believe. It was cheap and really an excellent buzz. Have not seen it in GA

Funny story , when I was younger in Miami all of us thought Coors was tops simply because you could not get it. I was very expensive and really hard to find back then before all the commercials. I took vacation one year to visit a bud in Boulder Colorado and do some skiing. First thing we did was go for a case of beer. Coors was stacked over in the corner and was very cheap. My friend called it rabbit piss and said no one there even touched the stuff.
    I don't think i've drinken one since.

In Chicago the cheap beer is Old Style. That's what the old men and the hobos drink in the old man/hobo bars.

Not sure what Dos Equis is doing on there. That's actually pretty good beer, especially the amber. Especially if you're already drunk. Especially if you're eating huevos rancheros.

The Yuelingling thing is definitely accurate. When I had a kegerator we had that in there constantly. Is Corona really an NYC thing now? I don't remember that at all. I do remember Brooklyn Lager being really cheap, though. I got really hammered at a dodge ball tournament in Brooklyn once and went by their warehouse on the way home and the delivery driver let me take home a six pack for free.

I love the idea of hobo bars.
