I think Rex would have done more with Tebow than he will with either Vick or Geno. Him and the rest of the Jets roster are mediocre and the Dolphins and Bills are at least mediocre enough to keep him from going 4-2 in the AFCE which is what he or any of the teams not named the Patriots needs to get into the playoffs. I still can't believe he didn't give Tebow a legit opportunity to work his magic, he seemed like a perfect fit for the ground and pound approach (short of having an elite QB of course).

have you seen that man try to throw a football? and that was w/ really good weapons in Denver. Imagine the fun of Tebow throwing to Chaz Schilens

The talent is building up again, the pressure to win will be high.

as for Philbin, I don't think he is bad but he has to get the job done this year. he has to at least get to postseason.
You keep saying that but every single measurement for good QB play says otherwise.

what blind stat sites tell me means nothing to me. Mark was a good QB for us on some pretty good teams, the last 2 years the talent on O has been dreadful, the Ds have still been good enough.

It would be a great move for rex. He could get a 53 new sets of feet to ogle everyday. and imagine during camp how many feet he could check out! But no, I would stop rooting for the fins as long as he was coach.

Who said anything about stats? I'm talking about common sense. But I digress... We have a poo-ton of threads where we can debate the turds' lack of ability. Moving on.

we are allowed to disagree but it's hard to win in this league(especially being a final 4 team 2 straight years) w/ poor QB play.

yep, we had the '85 Bears around the worst QB in the league. mark clearly held us back, if we only had Ryan Tannehill we'd have been a dynasty!
