In Your Opinion Tannehill or Russell Wilson

I'm at a poker table sporting my dolphins hat and somehow got into a debate where I said I'd rather have Tannehill than Russell Wilson. No also said that I wouldn't take any qb from that draft besides Russell Wilson. My arguments were that Tannehill doubled his production from his rookie season and did it behind the worst ol and an anemic running game. Not to mention a OC that was arguably worse than dan henning. I just wanted to see fellow fin fans opinions on what they think of Tannehill and what qbs they would switch for from that draft.

I'd take Wilson if having to choose.

Wilson vs. Tannehill is going to depend on the system and coach.

Wilson and Carroll >>>>> Tannehill and Philbin, though. That's mostly intended as a compliment for what Pete has done in Seattle.

This topic is old and boring.

Anyone who would take Wilson over Tannehill doesn't understand or care to understand how much "easy" Wilson has it in Seattle. We all saw just how dominate that defense is in the super bowl when they wiped the floor with the Broncos offense. He also has one of the top 3 rbs in the league in Beast mode taking an enormous load off of Wilson shoulders. All they ask him to do is not mess up and make a play here or there. If you put Wilson on this team and Tannehill on that team, Wilson would be exposed and Seattle would be an even bigger monster with Tannehill and Carrol at the helm.

Miami goes as Tannehill goes, when he plays well they've won and when he struggles they've been terrible to watch offensively. Wilson had a disgusting few week stretch of the season last year and Seattle still had no problem winning in spite of his performance.

Note: I liked Wilson coming out of the draft and thought Seattle got a steal in the 3rd

It isn't as simple as just picking one or the other. You have to compare their teams. Seattle has their **** together whereas Miami never does.

russell wilson throws a great deep ball, has incredible pocket awareness and instincts, doesnt turn the ball over and is a winner, in college and the pros. anyone taking tannehill over him is blinded by the aqua and orange. ask anyone neutral and theyd probably laugh at the question.
