Wilson certainly didn't improve while tannehill did. And dispute the regress, Wilson won a super bowl. That's how good his defense was

Tannehill was terrible in 2012, he had nowhere to go but up. Wilson was really good as a rookie and pretty much duplicated his #s but it wasn't just the #s. he was better in 2013 or Seattle would not have won a SB. Much like Ryan he had a mediocre/poor OL but he made that OL look better than they were and Ryan made his look worse.

And those stats are with a much better team, and Wilson knowing he doesn't need to win games, unlike Tanny. I see NO IMPROVEMENT in Wilson from year one to year two. I think what you see is what you get from Wilson forever...3000 yards and mid-20's touchdowns. I'm not saying this personally against you, I am just so sick and f'n tired of hearing about guys like Griffin and Vick and Newton and Wilson being the guy whose going to be that guy that brings great athleticism and great QB play together to be the next best thing ever. Get outta here with this crap. His comp pct dropped in year 2. about an extra 18 yards a game passing. He fumbles just like Tanny, and he had the 2nd best running game in the league and the best D in the league. When he carries his team to a couple wins a year, come back to me with this crap about how great Wilson is.
Ryan didn't need to win games, he just needed to make some simple throws and avoid big mistakes- 2 things he couldn't do. His comp % went down by whopping 1% and was still higher than Ryan's.

Seattle didn't have the 2nd best rush O, they were 2nd in attempts and 12th in YPC- not a good ratio.

Wilson is really good, I don't care how good that D is.

Seattle is the youngest team in the league. they have a top notch Defense and a well coached team.. RW is way ahead of RT, RW has a quicker reaction time, better pocket presence a more accurate arm. This is RT's last chance to prove he can lead a team, if we don't go deep in to the playoffs back to square one, looking for a franchise QB... Fingers crossed...

I don't think it is his last chance in the league, may be his last chance in Miami though.

and if he does 26 TD to 10ints with 3000 yards for the next 5 years, are you going to still say he is really good?

I guess my point is...he is what he is....and I can pick 10 QB's I'd take over him today. That makes him slightly better than average in my book. I hope, I really really hope, the Niners and Seahawks and Redskins all give these guys monster contracts, because 2 years after that, those teams will become also rans.

Seattle will lose some guys and better continue to draft well(they do have a good GM)....what are they going to do when they have to pay their QB more than 800k? I do not believe that Russell Wilson can carry that team a la Brady/Manning/Rodgers/Brees if they lose 3 or 4 top-notch guys.
