I see what he's saying, take the fifth of sixth best tackle instead of the number one guard and smile like he's the smartest guy in the room.

Yeah exactly, ego fulfilling acorn moves that waste everyones time and fails to solidify the position.

This is from 2 days ago. I had all of the position players (non-qbs) in my top 10 when I did this 3-4 days ago.

Normally you would be right. But Zack Martin has 52 starts, most in Notre Dame history. He's also the first offensive lineman to win MVP of a bowl game since 1959...

There's no question he is an all-pro guard for a decade.

    to add to that..

Was ineligible for 2011 bowl game for academics.. are you kidding me? Tutor's do all of football players assignments aside from putting their name on it for them. And they get extended test times for all exams

Also this "Can be loud, boisterous and overly egotistical, which will rub some people the wrong way."

If it was 2014, I'd be a bit more concerned. I expect kids to mature through college, so academic issues in 2011 doesn't really concern me. Better than a drug arrest, or getting in fights.

I think if we're using 'loud, boisterous and overly egotistical' as definitive 'character issues', then 75% of this draft probably has character issues.
