Props 2u Kudos To California Chrome - Kentucky Derby Champion!

    ...going away!

What a remarkable rags to riches story: the offspring of an $8k mare and $2.5k stallion from humble beginnings in a Central California one horse stable owned by working class parnters again victorious against top bred horses and elite trainers. It's like someone from a trailer park winning America's Cup. Just inspirational... He and his jockey Victor Espinoza, now a 2X Kentucky Derby winner, and Art Sherman, its 77yr oldest trainer to win the KD. ..with a legitimate shot at the elusive Triple Crown. This is a "people horse" also and very easy to root for.

    FIST PUMP TAG

The outhouse-to-the-penthouse story continues on. Mega-props to this wonderful horse for winning a more contested Preakness - the 2nd leg of the elusive Triple Crown. However, there's a chance that his salty blue collar owners may go "**** you" and just pull him out if the stewards at Belmont (not the state of NY Racing Commission which has no such prohibition) stay in character refusing to permit him from wearing the same breathing-enabled nasal strips he wore the last 6 races. Also, my friend, a long time handicapper (who laughs at the Esquire show "Horseplayers") is not too optimistic on account of the 1.5 mile length of the race -so there's that too. Either way, great job by this amazing colt who until the Derby, never raced outside of Cali.
