Think again. Lazors offense last year was number 1 in rushing. I think we will be running more then last year so Shelley is signed to run block.
Was not Lazor's O but Philly's run blocking last year was off the charts. As a team, they graded out at a bit over 100, with Dallas second at a +30. You and I could have run behind that line with "a bit" of success. lol
Half a second is a huge amount -- re: the context of what we're talking about. Pressure. Rushes. Number of rushers. More coverage on WRs. Less skilled WRs 2-5. Pedestrian TE that puts zero pressure on passing D. Zero run game threat.
Add that together and it's a miracle that Tanny is not seriously injured.
If anyone remembers last years camp, Jordan was running wild in getting to the QB. There were a couple of former players (can't recall who) that explained in practice, this was on specific pass plays when everyone knew it was a pass play, and that gives a huge advantage to the pass rush in not having to even consider a run.
Unfortunately, we carried that over into the season.
