Darkwa was the MVP of the New Orleans Bowl this past season. He is 6-0 and weight around 220. He runs a 4.4. He has been injured some in his career, but broke Tulane TD record, scoring 39 in his career. Name may be funny, but his presence on field isn't.

Being a Georgia graduate, I have seen Mr. Whooten play quite a bit. He is a decent receiver. I don't expect him to make the team.

He's a nice looking player...like him a lot better than Williams. Think he could press Gill. Love his ability to pass protect on top of everything.

Abramson is reporting that Gannon has already been cut. I sense a new signee soon. They still have one open spot before this cut for Jensen.

Tbh players should be tested on something more important than bench press presses, and that is Squats. Imo leg strength is far more important than chest strength. A much better benchmark would be how many times can they squat 400-500 lbs.

I think you get an idea of their lower body strength in the explosive tests; broad and high jumps. I think the upper body strength measure is important. The more muscle upstairs the better holding onto the ball, taking hits, and blocking/controlling rushers. In a league that has moved to a lot of hand fighting for blocking having that upper body strength is a real factor. As an aside, a 220lb pro level athlete should be able to put up 225lb more times than me. He doesn't, and I'm hardly what you'd call 'fit'.
