I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

Or they can work for TDCJ.

They can't do1/2 of the jobs at a male prison, but they continue to be employed, and pay the same, even though I'm
doing twice the work as they are. I don't think that's fair.

    Thanks Shifty!

So true Goon!! And to be honest, the OP is right on, although it came across a bit defensive and aggressive sounding, his points were still valid

No, what's not "fair" is that only you get to speak about female employees at your male prison, and there are no female employees posting here to give the other side of things.

If they were here, I'm sure they'd define "work" a little differently than you. Work includes communication with inmates, de-escalation, problem-solving, suicide-prevention, and so forth, as well as being diligent and putting in long hours.

Maybe some female employee there de-escalated an inmate one day, and prevented violence that could have occurred against the male staff, on a different day. Maybe you should be thanking her.

And it goes both ways, with the men helping out the female employees and having their back. It's called working as a team.
