Losing Ogunlye reminds me of the Patriots losing Lawyer Milloy

Just saying is all. I mean I know Ogun is at a more premier position, but he also isn't as premier a player as Lawyer was.

The Pats had a CB to replace Milloy, we have David Bowens and Jay Williams...they survived and I think we'll survive.

But at least when we got rid of Ogunleye we added some MUCH needed offensive help in Marty Booker...a guy I love...but I don't want to turn this into a Booker debate. In fact, nothing for debate. I'm just saying the thing reminds me of when the Pats dumped Lawyer a week before the season opener.

if only that were the most traumatic thing to happen to the team this offseason! i agree it's kinda like that. i remember going to pats' boards after that happened. they all thought belichick was an idiot and that the team was in the crapper. and then the bills beat 'em 31-0... talk about a bunch of fans in a panic. it goes to show you that a team can pull together.

btw, i am psyched about booker as well.

I do get that feeling...I like D. Bowens better than Wale anyway. He plays with Fire...I'll never forget him laying someone out on a onside kick. Wale thinks he is king $hit. he is just a big baby!

Yeah, its better. We give up one good player and get another(the draft pick is the icing on the cake).

We wouldn't be talking that way if Ogun signed a huge deal with us.

I'd be choked if he was here frankly. Speilman had to trade him for offensive help, I mean come on.

Interesting....would you beat the same drum if it was Taylor instead of OGUN whose contract had expired at the same time when we need offensive help?

well, that would depend if Taylor was in the same greedy state and somewhat unproven performance category.
