    Refs Killing the sport

I was irate at teh refs in the Miami game, they cost Miami the win plain and simple. And then in the Rams-Pats game they make a big call late hit on Brady which was bogus. Helmet to helmet and Littles helemt didnt even hit Brady. :roflmao: The refs and the league are ruining the sport by protecting teh QB WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much. It cost Miami the game today and was a huge play at the end of the half in the Rams game. Ive seen it over and over in many games this year where even announcers couldnt believe it. These refs are a disgrace.....

I agree that the calls were bad but that call did not cost Miami the game, they had the lead with less then 2 minutes to go, the call had nothing to do with the defense not being able to stop the MIGHT JOSH MCNOWN.

Again I agree with you the refs screwed up but let's not use them for an excuse for the loss.

The League is quick to fine players for bogus hits (i.e JT last week or week before?). Why don't they fine the frickin' refs a whole game check when they blow calls like they have. I wanted to reach through the TV and grab that MFR by the throat. Chicken $h-t zebra. I was hoping for a retaliation pick by a reciever or someone knocking him on his a$$.

Wait a minute............The refs may have played a huge role in getting DW's regime out of here. :goof: Way to go Men In Stripes. Here's to you!!!

I guess the thing that made me scratch my head was that Fiedler got pummeled into the ground, after the ball was thrown, and there was hardly any contact to McNown on his pass that led to an INT---and the flag was thrown on the McNown play ?????It seemed like the flag was thrown after the INT as well. Oh well, I guess we shouldn't have put ourselves into that position where the penalty wouldn't have mattered, but it did seem like a game changing bad call.

Let's see if the refs controlled Miami's, loss.

Our # 2 Pass Defense let the # 30 ranked Passing Offense move the ball on 2...that is 2 drives, of 80 and 70 yds, in the 4th quarter for TDs...

We even had the TOP in this game, 32-28...

Those zebras killed us against the Jets also, our Defense gave them 3 TDs and 1 FG in the 2nd half. With those 65, 94, 33, and 41 yds drive, the zebras gave them. They cost us that game also...

Yeap them zebras are killing us...

they are taking away from the sport. i understand that we have to protect key players i.e. QB and Kickers. But the Bullish i seen that they called remember they have to consider momentum of a player. if a player is in motion less then a yard for the QB contact is not considered roughing the passer.

Do you guys remember the helmet to helmet hit on Feeley? No flag was thrown....yet we barely tap McKown and TWICE get called for 15 yard unsportmanlike penalties. BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
