Jay Williams is skeptical about Saban.

It doesn't surprise me that there may be some players like Jay Williams who are skeptical about Saban, but somehow, I doubt it is because they think being out of the NFL for ten years is the main reason.

Jay Williams may have summed up his pathetic career with the statement "He can't treat us like kids. There aren't any discipline problems on this team." Then, he had the gaul to suggest that Mike Martz is a coach that he could live with. Well, of course he could live with Martz. Martz will be lax with the team whereas Saban will demand that they take accountability.

There may be a few casualties to begin the Nick Saban era, as some of these players have probably gotten too used to the country club atmostphere of Dave Wannstedt. I believe they may start with Jay Williams.

As far as Im concerned Jay Williams can go mix herbs, roots, and tree bark with that other Williams guy that spoke out against his coach.

Speaking of names.... Jay Williams should already be off this team. I mean come on! His first name is Jay...and his Last name is Williams!?! Now all we need is to pick up some player named "Ricky Fiedler"

Could he be the player that called his agent to get him out of Miami if Saban is named HC?

Its about time we clean out all of the underachievers, the injury prone players and the doggers.

''I'm talking about [Saban's] personality, how he deals with us,'' Williams said. ``We're not kids anymore. I don't think there's been any discipline problems on this team this year. Ain't nobody stepped out of line, ain't nobody got arrested, have they?

''OK, so we don't need somebody to come in here yelling at us,'' Williams said. ``Because, everybody out here works hard. Everybody goes out on that field and gives everything they have. We just need that winning edge.''

Like several players this season, Williams espoused the ''we're close'' theory and didn't endorse sweeping changes.

''We just need a couple of pieces and we can turn this around,'' he said. ``I don't think it's the coaches at all. It's a couple of players here and there. A couple of changes maybe upstairs, strategy-wise, and I think we'll have it.''

THIS IS WHY PLAYERS ARE PAID TO PLAY AND NOT THINK!
Just step away from the drugs son....
