Saban and Mobile QB's - Leinart Not Mobile

I'm sorry if this has already been brought up before. A good friend of mine is an LSU alumn and is a HUGE Tiger fan (he was actually on my case about the Fins picking up Saban). But anyway, he told me that historically Saban has preferred mobile QB's. He doesn't think that he would take Leinart because he's more of a pocket passer and that Alex Smith from Utah is more a Saban type QB.

Now, my friend is obviously no professional or anything and I don't really follow college, so I wanted to know if anyone here had some comments about this. Last night was the first time I saw Leinart play and I thought he was pretty damn awesome but is he the type Saban would take?

Lienhart looked okay moving around the pocket last night! And Saban was there!

I personally thought he looked a little sluggish moving out of the pocket.

Yea I was thinking about that this morning. As much as I like what Leinart did last night I'm not sure he would fit into what Saban wants from a QB.
