Fat Hank said the following things on his show this morning....
Trestman never had a fair shot here in Miami. Apparently when Collier got the job it was already known that his health was not right. However, when Colllier stepped down, trestman was blamed for "pushing him over the edge". Tony Wise, which Hank called an "a$$hole", then goes to Wanny and says that he should promote his friend Foerster. Foerster, by the way, had problems when he left Tampa. Apparently, he was using the company cell phone to call 900 numbers and had to pay a couple thousand dollars to Tampa upon his departure. He, supposedly, was also somewhat of a boozer from what I gathered from reading between the lines of what Hank was saying. Anyway, Trestman is then potrayed as this coach that can't get along with anyone, when in fact he is very easy to get along with. Hank says that he is intellectually above the rest of that coaching staff. And that Fiedler told Trestman that he (Fiedler) would like to go wherever Trestman goes.
He also said that Foerster NEVER practiced the two minute drill (which I truly believe after watching them at the end of games) and that the offense was running Norv Turner's offense, which was ok, if anyone actually knew how to run it. There was NO offensive philosophy on that team this year!
Just thought I'd pass this along.... found it very interesting.
