    Fat Hank Upset About Trestman...

Fat Hank said the following things on his show this morning....

Trestman never had a fair shot here in Miami. Apparently when Collier got the job it was already known that his health was not right. However, when Colllier stepped down, trestman was blamed for "pushing him over the edge". Tony Wise, which Hank called an "a$$hole", then goes to Wanny and says that he should promote his friend Foerster. Foerster, by the way, had problems when he left Tampa. Apparently, he was using the company cell phone to call 900 numbers and had to pay a couple thousand dollars to Tampa upon his departure. He, supposedly, was also somewhat of a boozer from what I gathered from reading between the lines of what Hank was saying. Anyway, Trestman is then potrayed as this coach that can't get along with anyone, when in fact he is very easy to get along with. Hank says that he is intellectually above the rest of that coaching staff. And that Fiedler told Trestman that he (Fiedler) would like to go wherever Trestman goes.

He also said that Foerster NEVER practiced the two minute drill (which I truly believe after watching them at the end of games) and that the offense was running Norv Turner's offense, which was ok, if anyone actually knew how to run it. There was NO offensive philosophy on that team this year!

Just thought I'd pass this along.... found it very interesting.

hell yeah there was no offensive philosophy, you could see it with the way our plays were executed... there was no chance for success iwth that system... it was crazy...

Hank Goldberg talks about last years problems on offense...

I caught the tail end of Hank Goldbergs show this morning, talking about the problems among the various coaches last season, but I think I missed alot because he was referencing some stuff that he must have said earlier in the show.

He mentioned something about issues that Foerster has in his past and a little about another coach that has skeletons in his closet... Did anyone hear this?

He was really upset about Trestman not being retained, mentioning various coaches and players that love Trestman and how "all he cared about was making this team better", insinuating that for some of the other coaches that wasnt "all they cared about"... If anyone has more info on what Hank said, or even just general info on the turmoil that was our offensive coaching staff, Id love to hear more about this soap opera.

    Amin

Hank has ALWAYS been an apologist for his friends!! As you so aptly stated, NJFin, Trestman hasn't had what one would call a "stabile" work history. Saban can hire or fire whomever he wants, Hank really has no say in it!! It's just another reason for HG to hate him!! If this is someone who's an objective radio show host, we're all in a lot of trouble!!

He didn't say anything about Saban firing him... he simply said that from the start Trestman did not have a fair shot in the Wanny regime ....

Actually he was really happy that his producer brought him a Cafe Latte this morning... I guess it goes well with donuts.
