The Huddle Report's 7 Round Mock Draft for Miami.

    http://www.thehuddlereport.com

They have a free seven round mock draft posted.

    Miami's picks in this draft:

First Round (#2) - Cedric Benson, RB, Texas
My Comments: A strong case can be made for five to six players at this pick. Benson is the top rated player on a lot of draft boards at this point.

Third Round (#66) - Chris Colmer, OT, North Carolina State
My Comments: A very interesting player. He sat out the 2003 season with a condition known as Parsonage-Turner Syndrome. It is a condition where the nerves off the brachial plexus become inflamed. It will be interesting to see if this effects him in his future. He was on his way to becoming a possible first round pick before the strange syndrome appeared.

Fourth Round (#98) - Darrant Williams, CB, Oklahoma State
My Comments: This looks like it would be a best player available move. He's a short corner, but he showed very good ability at the Senior Bowl practices.

Fifth Round (#129) - David Greene, QB, Georgia
My Comments: I would love this pick. Getting Greene this low would be the equivalent of getting Tom Brady in the 5th round back in 2000. This guy is going to be a hell of a quarterback in the NFL.

Seventh Round (#193) - Zac Woodfin, LB, Alabama-Birmingham
My Comments: I don't know much about this prospect.

    Brady was a 6th-round pick.

Greene has Dorsey written all over him.

Greene has a much better arm than Dorsey. He's also not as physically weak as Dorsey. Those that disagree have not seen him play as much as I have, and to be quite frank, I'm going to trust what I see over what anyone else sees.

IMO Saban will be trying hard to trade that #2 pick. I would like it to be to either Dallas or San Diego for their 2 first rounders. I don't like the idea of picking Benson at #2. Too much money and would rather get a rb through free agency or later rounds. Greene in the 5th would be great as our new developmental qb. I'll have to do my homework on the other guys.

I've seen him play as well. Didn't impress me that much, just seemed like another care-taker college QB who plays not to lose, instead of playing to win.

I don't even think Greene would've been drafted if he went out last year.

Am I the only one who is terrified of picking Benson?

Not because of his character quirks or his love for Ricky.

He has a lot of miles on him and has had some off field problems.

Think about what he might turn into with a 12-15 million dollar cheque to cash...

I have been against Benson from the start.

If we can't trade down then value be damned...pick an Auburn runner and take the big fat pass on Benson.

One more thing...if we don't take at least 2 defensive lineman in this draft I will cry...this position has been overlooked for much too long...
