Dolphins make offer to USC assistant

    http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-...adlines-sports

According to a blurb in the L.A. Times, probably as an assistant to Offensive Line coach Hudson Houck.

The Miami Dolphins offered a job Friday to offensive line coach Tim Davis, and Carroll wants to make graduate assistant Ken Norton a full-time staff member.

"There's nothing there that's negative," Davis said of the Dolphins after his return from Miami. "It would be hard to leave these kids [at USC]. I love these kids. That's what's going on in my mind right now."

I am hoping that our coaching staff will be complete here in the next few days. We just need a DC and Nickel Package coach and we will be all set.

Looks like another example of bringing in a young coach w/ potential to learn from the great assisant w/ experience. I just love this approach!

From the sound of that blurb, it seems he said no to coming here.
