Leo Ambrurst leaving (story behind the story)

As you can see on the main page, Father Ambrurst is leaving the Dolphins organization after 9 seasons. Reportedly, he was offered the DC job 2 days ago and has formally turned it down, yesterday saying "#$#@ no, I don't deal with that @$%..."

Will Muschamp now appears to be the frontrunner.

    Goodbye father Leo

I just wanted to give the guy his due. I always liked listening to his pre-game prayers and I am not even Christian or even religious really. He just had a calming way about him that made him likeable. He also was someone the players went to when they needed to talk to someone. Every once and a while they would have some other guy do the prayer and it just wouldnt be the same. I remember one time he actually said "We pray for the health of the players and particularly Dan Marino." I'll never forget that. This may seem like a dumb post to some, and if so then don't reply, but for those who care I just wanted to say we will miss you buddy and good luck in whatever is ahead of you.

Thanks for sharing your experience. From what I read, it seems like Father Leo feels like his services are needed elsewhere. As a fan, I wish him the best.
