    Frank Gore?

I read in today's paper how Frank Gore has been getting into shape the past few months. He's lost over twenty pounds, he hadn't had the chance to get into good shape the past few years because of the knee injuries. Parrish is trying to be the fastest wide receiver in the draft (somewhere between a low 4.2 and 4.3).
I know the draft is stacked at RB and a good deal of people (myself included) have us taking Benson in the first round but do you think we could/should take Frank Gore if he's available in the later rounds?
Also, what round is Parrish expected to go in? He's a good receiver and a monster on punt returns.

If he's there after the third, you don't think he'd be a good investment? I know he hurt his knees but... so did Willis McGahee. Bad example.

No thanks. If we're going for a RB, I'd rather take one that isn't on his last leg.
If we do pick one up early, then I would like to see us address our needs in the mid rounds instead of taking 2 RB's. We need too many positions to double up.

McGahee might be unknown if Gore can stay healthy. He's too fragile, but when healthy, he's great. Just look at his frosh season.

Parrish is good returner, but he is only about 5'-9" to 5'-10" tall. That is very short for a wideout. He has great speed, but he wont be able to out leap defenders for the ball when it gets there. He will be another Donte Hall.

Gore can solidify himself as a first day pick IF he has a good combine. He is incredibly gifted physically. Before the two injuries, his fluidity, burst, and elusiveness were likened to Barry Sanders by the UM coaching staff. However, after two horrific knee injuries, his cuts and the way he hits the hole has lost a lot of "pop". I think if he is available on day two, and we haven't yet taken a RB, you have to take a shot at him.
I'm told that the cyborg operation is a relatively simple procedure really, where the mostly useless guts and slimy goo of the human body is replaced by the no doubt superior guts and oily goo of a robot!

Sir, wouldn't it be better if we DIDN'T do that, instead of doing it?

Good thinking, Simmons! But, no, I like the removing the guts thing, so I think we stick with that.

Thanks to awing_pilot for the awesome avatar!
