Interesting...the Black State of the Union 2005 included some powerful black leaders

But amazingly didn't include either of the most powerful black leaders in America. Louis Farrakhan is there (Incredible speaker by the way. I disagree with 60% of what he has to say, but his delivery is TOP notch. I thoroughly enjoy listening to the man), but neither Condi Rice nor Colin Powell are invited. The two most successful black public officials apparently don't have anything useful to offer on the discussion of the State of the Black Union in 2005. The man who, if he had accepted the nomination, had an incredible chance to be America's first black President, apparently had nothing intelligent to offer the discussion. Amazing.

Maybe because Powell and Rice aren't Muslim?

Players come and go, but I will always be a Miami Dolphins Fan first and foremost.

Perhaps it's because Powell & Rice arent racists and have the ability for free thought.

The Repubs continue to welcome Black Americans with open arms.

That brings up another point...why doesn't the ACLU have a problem with the fact that black politicians say "God" more than they say "America"? If the Right brings up God it's religious bigotry. If the Left does it it's....what exactly?

When the left mentions God, they are compassionate and showing their values. When the right mention God they are accused of trying to turn our country into a theocracy.

Are you telling me that they didn't invite "Ken Hamlin" my most favorite radio talk show host? I guess they would have to go through his absolution before he attended any of their meetings. God bless "The Black Avenger".
I never had any large respect for good spelling. That is my feeling yet. Before the spelling-book came with its arbitrary forms, men unconsciously revealed shades of their characters and also added enlightening shades of expression to what they wrote by their spelling, and so it is possible that the spelling-book has been a doubtful benevolence to us.
