    What About Brandon Jacobs???

Dont know if anyone has thrown this idea out there but, what if we picked him up in a later Round...LISTEN TO THIS... In 2003 Jacobs went to Auburn where he was second on the team in Rushing, Behind Cadillac Williams and ahead of Ronnie Brown. He is 6'4, 258 lbs. and runs a 4.5!!! Why hasn't this guys name come up yet? I know he isn't great at juking backers, but he can just run them over. What do you guys think??

1st Round - Alex Smith or Braylon Edwards

Later Round (3-5) - Brandon Jacobs.

Sounds like a great size RB.... but Saban knows this guy already. Was recruiting him to LSU. But had a falling out when Saban suggested that he may need to change position - DE. In fact, before Jacobs left Auburn, they had actually tried him at LB - but then Jacobs transfered so he could play RB. Expect Saban to pass on this guy.

Kinda sounds like Christian Okoye(sp?) who played a few years at KC. Pretty good back, but playing strictly as a bull, he wore out quickly.

in 2003 brown had some sort of nagging injury that's the only thing that kept him off the field jacobs wasn't better than him if so jacobs would have been the one to stay at auburn and split carries with caddy last year

size and speed aren't the only things needed to make a good NFL running back... people here seem to forget this fact...

No, hes not as good as Brown or Benson, but he would work. The main point is that picking him up would allow us to pick up Braylon or Alex Smith at #2. Then if we did pick him up, he could share reps with Lamar Gordon.
