after watching the video.... heres my :2c: about Wright and the "crying"

nobody wants to get punked out by the coaches, let alone the head coach, Saban. Ya know?.....I mean heres a young guy, trying to make a name for himself, wanting to make a good impression and all, and to get punked out like that, it had to hurt

As far as the crying goes......no, I dont think he was crying. He was wiping the sweat off his face.

I know how it is.....I stay in the Central part of Texas, where its always 100*F plus......with 100% humidity. I mean...all you have to do is walk outside and within a minute or two, you'll break a sweat. I'm pretty sure its like that in Miami.

He was held out of practice today right? Well I think that maybe yesterday he was in the training room getting treatment on his back, and came out there to watch and learn, not practice..... he was wearing a red jersey and all.

anyway you cut it, you gotta feel bad for the guy. The national media jumped all over this, and its making it seem like he's a wuss.

i really dont care if he cried or not, according to reports he came back out and had a good practice, which to me means that the guy will fight back and earn some respect. he could have easily folded and never returned if he was as upset as they make it out. seeing how he responded with a good practice, im kinda happy the media jumped all over it cuz now he may play the whole season with a mean streak to show he is no wuss. ya just never know, we will see.

It appeared he was crying. Saban can do that to rookies, but if he tries that with veterans, I think he's gonna "lose the team."

He for some reason he came out to practice without pads and coach sent him back in to get them. I'll bet where he came from if he was "wounded" he didn't have to practice.

man come on he was crying...no doubt about it. Does it change my opinion about him or give me a instant bias towards him. no. Get the kid some pads and lets line him up and see what he's got.

I guess most people missed the fact that the trainer dressed him, so to speak, for practice. It was posted earlier today, it was a miscommunication between Saban and Manny and his trainer. Saban later appologized. I'll see if I can find the link again.
