How about "Come Up With A Better Strategy" if you don't like the one currently being employed?

Better to just b*tch and whine about it, huh?

There is a growing perception that Sec. Rumsfeld and his undersecretaries are either less than honest, or less than competent because of several miscalculations along the way to bringing Democracy to Iraq. It seems not just the White House but also the Defense Department is struggling with credibility in the areas of competence and integrity.

Perhaps a strong move for Bush would be to replace his DOD staff with people who were more accurate in their pre-war calculations, have military credentials and are not already associated with the Bush White House... Is there a possibility that if Bush announced someone like Gen. Shinseki as the Secretary of Defense and gave him the reigns, that it might change the perception of what the US is doing while at the same restore some of the White House's credibility to the world...?

In one strong move the president could silence the left's criticism of the US being "stuck in the sand" in a prolonged war vastly perceived to be poorly planned and executed from the start. A Bold restructuring liek this could potentially boost recruitment levels, boost morale among the troops, and send a message to terrorists and insurgents that the US is has renewed, and redoubled, its efforts to win the war against the insurgency and to help build democracy in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
