Why did the titans release him mid season?

Some kind of struggle with the coach... evidently they disliked one another.

Tart says he asked to be released, the team said it was their decision... but did not contradict Tart about asking for his release.

Tart is an EXCELLENT run stopper when he's on... and he's only 27. He's better than Benito Jones I think.

If this guy has a chip on his shoulder, this could be an EXCELLENT signing.

I think they could look for a hybrid DE/DT type player. Someone a bit taller in height to play base DE.

That's my preference... and has been for awhile. D Robinson or Dorlus would both fit very well.

Miami's Dline coach worked out the Alabama Dlinemen at their pro day. Justin Eboigbe might be a target. Excellent against the run too.

I do think that taking a pure DT is probably off the table now. It would be a luxury pick at this point.
