Excellent
My brothers had some cool old hotrods. Chargers, GTOs and the like. Me I had to settle for 5.0 Mustangs later on. Man I miss the sound of downshifting those, the rumble made me hard. Didn't even need a chick in those days
Kind of a Wes Welker type, no?Agreed. Pearsall strikes me as one of those prospects that wasn't used well in college. He could easily be a much better pro if he lands in the right situation.
Don't sleep on this guy if he makes it to #21. He's about to turn 24 yrs old, which could be why he might drop a bit. Verse is a tremendous run defender and a power rusher off the edge.
Appears that Miami has less than 20 1st round grades on prospects this year.
How much of Mims playing LT have you seen to arrive at that conclusion? If you are looking for a LT Mims has a much better chance than Barton
Based on what? Playing RT in college also does not mean you can switch and be just as successful at LT either. Mark Schlereth said the other day on some podcast it is more challenging for an RT to move to LT than it is for him to move to RG. Switching sides is not something they all can do.Playing RT in College does not mean you can't play LT in the pros
Guyton can play either RT or LT IMO
He also showed signs of competency as a rookie at LT before the Denver game where he got hurt. Moving him to LG in 2021 was a poor decision. We did not even allow Jackson time to develop at LT. It was like, "Oh he isn't a Pro Bowl LT after his rookie season so let's move him to a new position for his 2nd year." Ridiculous. It's a possibility, but I'd prefer to keep Jackson at RT. He finally came into his own there.
Maybe he thinks that because no quarterback in 2023 faced a lower pressure rate than Tagovailoa, who was sacked on a meager 4.7 percent of his dropbacks. Here's the type of sloppy reporting that happens when the writer has no real knowledge of WHY a particular statistic happened.
Tua Tagovailoa
MIAQuarterback#1
ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe believes the Dolphins could take an offensive lineman in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Miami has just two picks inside the top 150 in the upcoming draft, and Wolfe suggests the team could take an offensive lineman to protect Tua Tagovailoa. Wolfe said the Dolphins could target Oklahoma OT Tyler Guyton, who met with the team on Monday. Guyton played right tackle at Oklahoma, protecting the blindside of left-handed QB Dillon Gabriel. He should have positional flexibility in the NFL. It would be a somewhat curious use of draft capital; no quarterback in 2023 faced a lower pressure rate than Tagovailoa, who was sacked on a meager 4.7 percent of his drop backs. Miami
He thinks our line protects well. Wow.
