Holland: Elite, very good, good, average

It’s kind of a mystery to me. Didn’t feel like he made a lot of plays last year (jets pick 6 aside). Yet he’s always talked about like we have a star back there. TBD would be my answer if it was there.

I voted 'very good' because while he's an excellent coverage safety, he just doesn't supply turnovers or big hits.

He's a better fit for a Fangio type system where he just plays centerfielder, but still... very few turnovers. He managed a single Int last year.

I would rate him extremely good (ie somewhere between very good and elite). I think that he has the potential to become elite but he's not there yet.

Holland played better under Flores. Then fell off the rails under Boyer. Rebounded last season. Good player. But not elite.

He was looking like a future hall of famer his rookie year. It seems like the players hated the Fangio system and he was banged up a bit last year. I think he can be elite but this is a pivotal year for him

After his rookie year I’d have just went with very good, but was hoping he would be unquestionably top 5 or so by now lol

I’ll go very good. Needs to get back to how he was playing earlier in his career though. Been a bit up and down with injuries to himself and the rest of the d (think he may have been asked to do too much), but we’ve seen what he can do and that’s well above average IMHO.

Doesn’t have the consistency yet in his career to hit elite status. I think he has potential to get there.

Early 2nd round pick and has lived up to that being a good starter with the possibility of stepping up from there.
Do wonder like many players having 3 different DC’s in 3 years has had an effect.
Also not having a consistent partner in crime as the other S plus the constant injuries to CB’s has impacted on him.

Very good with potential to become elite.

2024 is a huge season for him. Has to stay healthy and truly breakout if he wants to get paid. Look at what happened to the safety market this offseason…..
