Chubb's first 3 contract seasons are objectively a negative balance.
nothing will matter unless we fix the OL firstIf Chubb or Phillips aren’t ready, the offense will need to score 40 points per game, we need defensive help desperately, offense will get theirs..with current skill players, we need defensive line and offensive line help, like stat.
Do you wanna draft a LG/LT project to "take over" from Armstead? That's a waste of resources IMO. In the end you are only hoping he can play LG if he's a LT or viceversa. LG has very low positional value.nothing will matter unless we fix the OL first
I agree Danny, it’s been an unmitigated disaster….but we can do both…we’re not going OL/OL at 21/55…defense killed us late last year.nothing will matter unless we fix the OL first
Scoring 7 points against KC killed us.I agree Danny, it’s been an unmitigated disaster….but we can do both…we’re not going OL/OL at 21/55…defense killed us late last year.
questions should be to those teams is, are those three players legit top 20 talent's in any draft ?I don't know man. Thats asking alot.
Falcons and Bears both need edge rushers. Hard to imagine all the teams picking 10-20 pass on that premium position with such a weak defensive class otherwise.
I would bet against it, rather heavily.

If I was going to bet it would be on Tackle, Gaurd, Edge, DT, WR in that order of what position our 1st round pick will be.Best positional value out of our needs. We're missing TWO starting edges. We signed one. We paying Chubb big bucks to be irrelevant in '22, incur costly penalties and get injured down the stretch in '23, when he'll likely also miss most this next season.
We don't immediately need a starting OT and iOL is a reach.
WR/TE/DB would be overkill.
We're going iOL in the second.
DT in the 5th. Maybe trade up into the 3rd for one. We already brought a lot of bodies at iDL and we can bring more after the draft. Letting Wilkins go also shows how much we value the position.
WR late.
Wynn never stays healthy for very long....Armstead is always hurt.....Jackson has been hurt often, Jones was hurt last year, Eich played hurt all year....would be nice to bring in a young healthy top OL prospect for a change....imo the value for DT in this draft is in the 2nd roundDo you wanna draft a LG/LT project to "take over" from Armstead? We already have projected starters along the OL. We have nothing at RE. Wynn is healthy NOW.
I agree we're not drafting two OL players but we need to draft oneI agree Danny, it’s been an unmitigated disaster….but we can do both…we’re not going OL/OL at 21/55…defense killed us late last year.
The DTs in the 2nd round Rev my engine, the thought of taking one of them in the 1st round..... no, just no.Wynn never stays healthy for very long....Armstead is always hurt.....Jackson has been hurt often, Jones was hurt last year, Eich played hurt all year....would be nice to bring in a young healthy top OL prospect for a change....imo the value for DT in this draft is in the 2nd round
